Helping Young People Turn Potential Into Purposeful Action

SOAF Global equips young people ages 15-24 with practical tools to develop identity clarity, confidence, self-awareness, communication, and purpose. The Courage to Be You is our six-step identity and purpose program for schools and youth-serving organizations. Through interactive workshops and guided activities, participants move from self-doubt and uncertainty toward greater self-awareness, ownership, and purposeful action.

Our Work

In the room with young people

We have presented at 10 schools across Jamaica, reaching more than 2,000 students. Since 2021 we have hosted three Young Women's Empowerment Seminars.

In 2022, we facilitated training for inner-city youth at The University of the West Indies, Mona, as part of an internationally funded youth program.

Why It Matters

Full of potential, unsure how to live it

Many young people are growing up measuring themselves against everyone else's life online, and losing sight of their own. Without a clear sense of who they are, it is hard to find direction, to know their value, or to push through setbacks.

The result is potential that never gets used. We give young people practical steps to break that cycle.

45% of Gen Z say they lack meaning, purpose, or both in their lives.

Gallup survey of 13-to-28-year-olds, December 2025.

The Courage to Be You™

Six steps that move young people from limiting beliefs to action. The first five build the foundation. The sixth is where they lead.

  1. 1

    Identity

Discovering who you are, apart from comparison and other people's expectations.

  2. 2

    Purpose

Finding direction and the part only you can play.

  3. 3

    Self-Awareness

Understanding your strengths, your patterns, and the beliefs that hold you back.

  4. 4

    Confidence

Knowing your value and acting on it.

  5. 5

    Owning Your Voice

Speaking up and standing by who you are.

6

Unlocking Your Full Potential

Every step leads here: putting it all into action. Full potential is our definition of you.

The program is based on our book, Unlocking the Courage to Be You: Practical Steps to Unlock Your Full Potential, Because the World Needs You, and supported by a 90-day guided journal. Both are available on Amazon from October 10, 2026.

I am grateful that SOAF Global came to speak to us about these things. There is no other way I would have known all of this.

Why We Do This

At our sessions at the Mona campus, one young man wore a ski mask every day. He never wanted us to see his face. A month before the training ended, he took it off. The young man who had been closed off opened up and took part. That is the change we do this work for.

About

About SOAF Global

We believe everyone carries something uniquely theirs to give the world. That uniqueness is where greatness lives.

SOAF Global was inspired by a pain we have seen again and again: people full of potential and unable to live it out. Our purpose is to help them break free from the limits that keep them stuck.

We are a team of speakers and facilitators working across the UK, the USA, and Jamaica. Our sessions are practical and interactive, and built on lived experience.

We coach and facilitate. We are not therapists, and we partner with licensed professionals when a program calls for it.
